Note that if you are arriving in Thailand without a tourist visa, marriage visa or retirement visa then you are very limited in how long you may stay. If you arrive via a land border your maximum stay in Thailand is 15 days irrespective of nationality. If you arrive via an airport then you get 30 days stay in Thailand which does depend on your nationality. Also ensure that you have a visa before you visit Thailand.
